Season Dates
We are grateful for everyone’s continued support during these unprecedented times.
The North Canberra Netball Competition ( NCNC) Committee has been working very hard with NACT and the ACT government over recent days in working toward restarting our season under the current restrictions (stage 2.2 – groups less than 100).
We are very excited to announce that we have been given the green light to commence the season which will start from July 18 – Sept 26, 2020. The 2020 season will consist of 9 rounds and 2 rounds for the fonals ( SF and GF).
Courts and access
Please make yourself aware of the courts and new guidelines for playing before your game this Saturday.

Draws
We recommend that you check the draws each week to ensure of any changes to times and venues for games.
Requirements of players and spectators
PLAYERS
Court entry and exit will be via Entry A or B gate and Exit A or B gate.
Entry to the courts will be 10 minutes prior to games. There is to be no crossing over between groups.
Ensure you come ready to play i.e. drink bottles filled, jewellery out, fingernails cut, shoes and strapping done, have been to the toilet etc.
“Get In, Play and Get out”: As soon as games have finished you will need to leave the courts via your exit gate.
There is no canteen or BBQ at either venue.
Please remember those enforcing the rules on Saturday are VOLUNTEERS. They want your kids to be able to play; they’re mums and dads too. Please be respectful, be responsible, be kind, and be understanding.
SPECTATORS
Given physical distancing requirements from ACT Government, entry to the courts will be restricted to only players, 1 coach, 2 umpires and 1 scorer (to score for both teams). This is so we can stay to 25 people per court and therefore adhere to the 100 people per group.
