The Canberra Netball Association (CNA) pavilion was constructed in the 1970s and is in desperate need of redevelopment. As most will agree, the pavilion does not cater for the 5,000 players, spectators, umpires and officials that walk through our gates each week. With only two toilets and no change rooms – they are the real heroes!
The good news: CNA was fortunate to receive a Commonwealth Government grant to build your new Clubhouse, with more space, safer facilities, better amenities and a place we can call home and share with our netball community.
The bad news: the grant will not cover the cost of the entire build, which has increased due to the escalating costs of the build caused by an increase in demand for building supplies during COVID, the need to undertake a complete knockdown-rebuild, and a design that ensures your new Clubhouse is not outgrown in the next 50 years.
