The North Canberra Netball Competition (NCNC) is managed by the Canberra Netball Association and the Belconnen Netball Association and is played on a Saturday on outdoor courts in Lyneham and Charnwood from March to September each year.
NCNC divisions include:
- Seniors (opens) for players 16 years + (including women) Divisions 1 – 6.
- Cadets for 16 – 18 years girls (Years 10-12) Divisions 1 – 5.
- Intermediates (Mixed & Girls comp) for 13 – 15 years girls and boys (Years 7-9) Divisions 1 – 9.
- Juniors for 11 – 12 years boys and girls (Years 5-6) Divisions 1 – 6.
- SET Tier for 7-8 year olds (girls & boys) Divisions 1 – 2.
- GO Tier for 9-10 year olds (girls & boys) Divisions 1 – 2.
- NET SKILLS Program for 5 – 7 year olds. Suitable new participants in K – Year 1 @ 9.30am (Lyneham Courts). 10 week program.
Times for selected categories and divisions may change each season. This is due to court availability and number of teams in each division. Competition day is from 8:30am to 4pm.
Grading rounds will be for all categories except SET and GO Tiers and Inters Mixed.
The NCNC winter competition, while managed by the two associations don’t form teams or register teams to play in the competition –– this is done through clubs and participating schools, see below.
